Forgiven

This is where it all ends

Betrayal of friends, sting of enemies

Forgotten and buried herein

This is where I seal them all

Punched in by disappointments

Of a pal’s absolute promise

My tears do well to flow

But they cease in this place

Have endured accusations so false

Have had the right to avenge

Yet when I was wrong, someone also forgave me

I will cherish and not lose this place

When I get here I lay my pains to rest

I forgive all, I let go all wrongs done me

Bury them in the presence of God

Where forgiveness abounds unlimited

Matt 18:33-35 “³³ Should you not have had mercy on your fellow slave [who owed you little by comparison], as I had mercy on you?’ ³⁴ And in wrath his master turned him over to the torturers (jailers) until he paid all that he owed. ³⁵ My heavenly Father will also do the same to [every one of] you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.“(AMP)
