The Magnificence of God

Just words and the formless earth took a form.

Only His word could conjure a geoid^*

Through the geoid and the void without it

A being roams to and fro, the devil

But He, in omnipresence dominates

 

With weakly bonded molecules of water

He did rid earth once of evil

These molecules bore an ark way high

Above the highest of peaks

With the invisible force that sways trees

Parted He the red sea for His people to tread

And all Egypt’s best chariot*

He thought best to use as natural resources

When evil rose again, He sent another rain

It rained not water this time, but fire

To safety He did send His people again

And the one that looked behind

An unsculptured pillar of salt became

 

With stammering Moses

Fearful Gideon

And Timid Jeremiah

He proves man’s clay content and His pottery skill

And then His Spirit, He sent after His Son

Their one power, no tongue can express

This awesome being rules immortally

Where the sun is done an honour if called darkness

Yet He reigns in mortal man

If my words are vain, it’s no challenge

For none can express this indescribable being

His concept is best whispered… “God”
