FOR NGOZI (NGEE)
In the light of creation
It sought not a name
For situations of the same
It could not compete for fame
Many saw this as pride
And took it for a ride
So, it decided to step aside
but it was impossible for it to hide
Situations did unfold
And attained heights untold
Then conditions presented a mould*
Yet it shone more than gold
Questions were asked
And answers were waxed*
But the reason could not be cracked
So, none could take it for a quack*
In all, this was known
The glory was not its own
And the honour had it not sown
But its image had been blown
It was a design of the heavenly realm
That in the face of this worldly system
It should always remain firm
And forever be known as a gem
…You may not look it
But you are that Gem!
1Pet 2:9 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. (AMP)
