I AM BUSY

GOD: Hello son, I didn’t hear from you this morning

SON: Sorry dad, I was in such a hurry to leave the house, I didn’t have time to commune

GOD: I noticed the breakfast I kept for you was untouched

SON: I didn’t have time to feed, in fact I just whispered a few lines of thanks.

GOD: These days I notice you just briefly thank me in the morning and summarize your appreciation at night. If you must grow in wisdom and strength, then you have to daily feed well.

SON: I am trying my best but the pressure and stress is so enormous

GOD: Hmmm. You need to learn to manage your time and invest in your life.

SON: I am trying my best, things are just too tight and I am always busy

GOD: How would you feel if I become too busy to hear or answer your prayers?

SON: That’s not possible. You are God. The almighty one.

GOD: You have my Spirit, the very same one I have so why can’t you be like me?

SON: You are God, I am just a mere mortal.

GOD: I gave you my Son so you could have his mind and be led by my Spirit, you are my image now

SON: Lord, I need your help because I do not know what else to do, I am not getting better

GOD: You need to seek me first and then I will add to you, all you are working for

SON: I will try

GOD: I am not asking you to try, I am asking you to do exactly as I have said in my word (Matt 6:33)

SON: Ok, dad. With your grace, I will do as you have said

GOD: All the challenges you face, I have their solutions. The answers you need, I have them, the expectations you pursue, I embody them. The life you foresee. I see even now.

GOD: I do not question your being busy except the fact that it is affecting your growth

SON: So what do I do, Lord?

GOD: You can remain busy but I need you to add me to your schedule!

SON: I will do just that, Lord. Thank you for coming after me

GOD: One more thing…

SON: Speak Lord, I am listening

GOD: After adding me to your schedule,…make me FIRST

SON: Got it Lord!

GOD: Now that’s my son!
