LIFE’S SWIRL
Sometimes we do our best
Hoping that people would appreciate
Other times we get so shoddy
Expecting others to overlook our deeds
People we seek to impress
Cast but a passing glance at us
Those we never take to heart
Become our most revered fans
We spend so much on values
That fade with or without time
Letting fallow the lands that yield
Even long after we are dead
Wisdom informs our acts
Time validates our efforts
Yet we have some regrets
And wailings over our pasts
I fear to fail at what I do
Yet I wont for that do any less
While today still counts
I will do what I can and best it
